GLP Rewarded For Largest LDI Stand Ever
Sun Valley, CA – GLP reaped the rewards for investing in what was their largest ever stand at this year’s LDI Show in Las Vegas. In keeping with the city itself, their grand 2,500 sq. ft. space was a myriad of adventure, bathed in a cornucopia of lighting, which visitors wasted no time in exploiting. An open area at the front, adorned with demo tables bearing the new fixtures, enabled lighting professionals to get up close and personal with the products before joining GLP staff in the meeting and hospitality area.

NASHVILLE,– As one of the most highly regarded songwriters today, MCA Nashville recording artist Clare Dunn is now making a name for herself on tour. Having already opened for many of country music’s biggest stars, the Colorado native has embarked on her first solo tour and production designer Mike Marcario was brought on to create a high-energy design that could accentuate the artist. To bring the full design together, Marcario worked with Nashville-based tour provider Elite Multimedia.
Roland VR-4HD High-Definition AV Mixer
Roland’s new VR-4HD High-Definition AV Mixer is designed to serve as an easy-to-use, compact and portable AV mixer that integrates a digital audio mixer, video switcher, multi-viewer touch screen and USB video/audio streaming interface into a stand-alone device. The VR-4HD has three dedicated HDMI input connectors compatible with a variety of equipment and offering support for 1080p/1080i/720p video resolutions. A fourth input includes a scaler to support both video and computer resolutions and also supports analog RGB and component input, as well as HDMI, so older devices can be used as sources without the need for external conversion equipment. HDCP is supported for input of copy-protected content from devices such as Blu-ray disc players. The Roland VR-4HD High-Definition AV Mixer will be available in December 2016.

Eagle Brook Church Chooses ACL 360 Bar™ for Latest Design at Six Campuses
MINNESOTA – In a unique example of an EDM-style lighting fixture in a House of Worship, Nate Nohling, Lead Lighting Designer at Eagle Brook Church, a large ministry with six campuses across Minnesota, chose 156 ACL 360 Bar™ LED battens as the staple of a new lighting design. “The number one thing I was shooting for when designing this set was impact,” Nohling explains. “I wanted to have a large quantity of fixtures that had the ability to create the impact we were looking for.”
