GLASGOW – Adlib will inaugurate its new Scottish warehouse in Glasgow with an afternoon / evening event on Thursday Oct. 13. Adlib has invested over £1million in the Scottish operation since its launch at the start of 2015. The new warehouse completes the current phase of development which also includes a substantial amount of new equipment and the set-up of a comprehensive infrastructure. Along with audio gear the facility will provide Martin, Robe, Chauvet and other lighting brands.

In Memoriam: Nicholas ‘Space’ Luysterborghs, 71

VALLONIA, IN — Nicholas “Space” Luysterborghs, a freelance master carpenter and stage crew supervisor, died July 13, 2016 at his home in Vallonia, IN after a heart attack. A native of New Haven, CT who worked on a freelance basis and spent many years on the road, Luysterborghs took meticulous care of the stages and sets used by top artists including Prince, Madonna, John Mellencamp and Aerosmith, among many others. He was 71.

SOUTH AFRICA – Innibos is an action-packed high profile arts and music festival staged in and around Mbombela (Nelspruit) in South Africa, presenting Afrikaans music, theatre, literature and visual arts. Lighting was designed by Johan Ferreira of BF Productions and Levan van der Merwe respectively … with kit supplied by MGG (Main) and EPH Productions (Rock), both companies have large rental stocks of Robe luminaires. Once again the festival featured Robe moving lights on the Main and the Rock performance stages.
