LONDON – Load monitoring company Eilon Engineering has been in the business of keeping people safe for 40 years and is celebrating the anniversary with new incentives for its customers and distributors. These will initially be offered at upcoming trade shows, including PLASA 2016 in London (Sept. 18-20, Stand E12), and LDI in Las Vegas (Oct. 21-23, booth 714), and will continue throughout the anniversary year.

ESA Announces ‘Event Safety For All’ Initiative

SCOTTSDALE, AZ — The Event Safety Alliance’s new Event Safety For All initiative aims to lower the barriers to broader participation in its programs, starting with what it costs to join. Annual membership dues are dropping from $180 a year to $75 a year. The 2016 Event Safety Summit, set for Nov. 29-Dec. 1 in Lititz, PA, is now $1,250 for members, and $1,500 for non-members. And printed copies of the Event Safety Guide are now available for as low as $24.94 (although pricing may vary), while the e-book version is offered for download at $4.99.

LAS VEGAS — There will be plenty to look at during this year’s LDI show, with the latest moving lights, video gear, staging and rigging equipment and sound systems all competing for attention. Forecastle Festival Sets Attendance Record; Bandit Provides Lighting for Headliners

LOUISVILLE, KY – The Forecastle Music Festival set a record with 65,000 July 15 -17. The event featured live music performed by more than 60 acts on four stages spread across 85 acres of Louisville’s Waterfront Park, with headliners including Alabama Shakes, The Avett Brothers, Ryan Adams, Death Cab for Cutie, Local Natives, Group Love and Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals. Bandit Lites played a key role at the event, providing lighting for the headliners and also looking after staging at the event.
