DOVER, DE – For U.K.-based electronic music duo AlunaGeorge’s Aluna Francis and George Reid, who hit the American touring and festival circuit, performing at the Firefly Festival, Lollapalooza and other gigs, LD Eric Baum used a Bandit Lites-supplied rig that included GLP Impressions, GLP Spot Ones, and Bandit’s own LED GRNLite Battens. LAS VEGAS — PLSN readers have chosen the six regional winners of the 2016 Hometown Hero Award competition.  These top vote getters from each of five U.S. regions plus all of Canada will be automatically entered on the Parnelli Awards ballot. PLSN readers will then get a chance to vote on which regional company will be awarded the coveted honor of Parnelli Hometown Hero Lighting Company of the Year. The 2016 Parnelli Ballot will be posted on parnelliawards.com in early September. The nominations process for all remaining Parnelli Award categories is now underway. The nominations deadline this year is Aug. 24, 2016.

DAVENPORT, IA — For the 2016 Miss Iowa competition, held in Davenport, Iowa’s Adler Theatre in June, Top-Notch Productions put an array of Martin RUSH MH 7 Hybrid fixtures through their paces. Energy efficiency was also a key concern, and the efficient output of the RUSH MH 7 fixtures enabled Top-Notch Productions to power the lights using just two 20-amp circuits.
