LightParts, which has been working with Life Austin Church since 2013, provided lighting for the newest worship space. The rig includes 20 Intellaspots, five Shapeshifter C1’s and a FQ-100 fogger, all from High End Systems, with a Road Hog Full Boar 3 console for control.

Paul “Arlo” Guthrie’s lighting design makes use of 27 Robe BMFLs, including 19 BMFL Spots and eight BMFL Blade fixtures. This is Guthrie’s first design for the popular country artist. His design includes five wood-framed columns of LED screens alternating with six bent-wood lighting towers on floor bases. Above this, there are five upstage / downstage trussing “fingers” and two standard straight trusses.

LAS VEGAS — The Parnelli Awards Board of Advisors announced that Grammy nominated composer/guitarist Adrian Belew will host the 2016 Parnelli Awards. The event is set for the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday, Oct. 22, just two days after the Parnelli Golf Tournament on Oct. 20.
