LEICESTERSHIRE, U.K. – More than 100 bands performed on Serious Stages in front of 80,000 rock fans, as Serious supplied staging and ancillary structures to Download Festival, which was held in Leicestershire from June 10-12. The 13th Download Festival featured headline performances from Rammstein, Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden, with Serious providing the stages for rock royalty and structures to house their production equipment.

Arf & Yes Uses 86 Robe Fixtures for ‘Voice in Flanders’

GHENT, Belgium — Arf & Yes provided the design for the Voice van Vlaanderan (Voice of Flanders), which was staged in Hall 8 of the Ghent Expo center with a live audience of 3,000. Led owner and founder, Ignace D’Haese, the Arf & Yes design team provided stage, set, lighting and video. The lighting rig included lighting rig featured 86 Robe moving lights, including 52 Pointes, 30 LEDWash 800s and four LEDWash 300s.

LAS VEGAS — No fatalities had been reported immediately after this year’s Electric Daisy Carnival festival held at Las Vegas Motor Speedway June 17-19. But one attendee who collapsed from suspected heat stroke at about 6 a.m. after the event’s third night of revelry was hospitalized and did not recover. Kenani Kaimuloa, 20, from the San Diego area, was declared brain-dead and taken off life support.
