‘Circle of Light’ Festival in Moscow Lit with Martin Lighting Fixtures

MOSCOW — Harman’s Martin fixtures illuminated the 5th International Circle of Light festival in Moscow for nine days last fall. Several architectural landmarks of the capital city were used in a variety of multimedia and lighting installations aimed at transforming urban spaces into canvases for innovative works of art. Russian company LBL developed the concept of the festival, and the team collaborated with designers from gst.moscow to deploy a range of modern lighting solutions, including Martin fixtures, in order to implement their creative ideas.

CANBERRA, Australia – Canberra Theatre Centre (CTC) has three main venues – the 1,244 seat Canberra Theatre; The Playhouse, which holds 614; and The Studio, a black box space with 100 capacity. Last year, the CTC invested in its first moving lights. Head of lighting Andrew Tweedie opted for Robe fixtures, which were delivered by Elite Sound and Lighting. Syncrolite Celebrates Red Rock Resort’s 10th Anniversary in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS – Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas celebrated its 10th anniversary on April 23, 2016 with a fireworks and lighting show featuring Syncrolite XL Xenon searchlights that filled the sky over the resort in an eight-minute choreographed lighting, fireworks and audio display. The 45 XL’s were placed in three groups of 15 fixtures around the resort creating a huge stage for the aerial art. Veteran crew chief TJ Benton along with Travis Slater and Travis Braudaway were on hand to set-up and execute a flawless light show. Syncrolite coordinated the performance with Fireworks by Grucci who designed and produced the show, one of the largest fireworks display ever hosted by a single venue in Las Vegas.

NASHVILLE – Panic! at the Disco wrapped their spring tour with a lighting package provided by Bandit Lites. The American pop/rock band known for their clever lyrics and distinctive sound released their fifth studio album, Death of a Bachelor, earlier this year, and is gearing up for a co-headlining summer tour with Weezer. Lighting designer Alex Specht of Spechtrum Lighting created a multi-layered look using a floor package that symmetrically parted a center drum riser with Martin MAC Vipers and Chauvet RH1 Rogues along the deck, road cases and four 6-foot truss towers with alternately hung Chauvet Nexus 4x4s and Atomic Strobes.
