SANTIAGO, Chile — Iron Maiden’s Boeing 747 was grounded after the plane’s connection with towing vehicles failed and it collided with the support vehicles. The accident happened early on March 12. Band, crew and gear were not aboard the plane during the accident. Two airport employees were injured.

STOCKHOLM, Sweden – For Simple Minds’ “Big Music” tour, LD Stephen Pollard expanded and scaled up the stage set and lighting rig he used in theatre venues last year, adding Robe BMFL Spot moving lights for extra visual impact as the band moved into larger venues and arenas. UK lighting and visuals rental company HSL invested in 50 new Robe BMFL Spots just before the tour went out, 24 of which were used by Steve.
