Morris Adds Four New Team Members

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Morris is pleased to announce the addition of two new team members to its Integration division and two new team members to its Light & Sound division. The Integration division has named Steve Land (pictured here), CTS, as Director of Business Development & Sales and Wade Russell as Relationship Manager. In the Light & Sound division, Chris Malmgren will serve as Audio Department Manager and Frank Heinrich as Operations Manager.

LONDON – Colour Sound Experiment is supplying lighting equipment and crew  to the current European tour by synthpop duo Hurts, riding high on the success of their third album ‘Surrender’ with a production design by Rob Sinclair. Colour Sound invested in 100 x new Martin VDO Sceptron 10 LED battens for the tour for which lighting is being directed and operated on the road by Matt Arthur.

Super Bowl 50’s CBS Sets, Halftime Show Brightened with Elation Gear

SANTA CLARA, CA — Elation Professional lighting products were used at several locations across Levi’s Stadium for Super Bowl 50 on Feb. 7, including CBS’ three main broadcast sets. Elation’s ELAR Q1 color-changing PAR lights were also mounted in the stage deck for the Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show. Illuminate Production Services (IPS) of Sacramento provided the Elation products for CBS’ Plaza, Field and Tailgate Super Bowl 50 on-site broadcast settings. The event proved to be the third-most-watched television program in U.S. television history, with a reported 111.9 million TV viewers, on average, for the duration of the event.
