WINSTON-SALEM, NC – SES (Special Event Services) of Winston-Salem, NC and Nashville, TN has recently strengthened its Integration department through a complete overhaul. Formerly known as Design Build, SES Integration has taken on a new focus with a nationwide expansion. SES Integration is now based in Charlotte, NC with a West Coast office in Sacramento, CA. Support will continue to come from SES Live Production Headquarters in Winston-Salem, NC as well as SES’ Live Production service hub in Nashville, TN.

PARIS, France – Paris-based multimedia design collective, Danny Rose has won Silver in the Live Event VFX & Animation category at the AEAF Awards 2015 for their multimedia content created for Mechanized Color Assemblage, a work of project light art seen during Vivid Sydney earlier this year. Mechanized Color Assemblage was created in conjunction with Australian artist, Rebecca Baumann to transform the façade of the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia into a series of color and sound machines.

TORONTO- As the one of the world’s largest international multi-sport competitions, the 2015 Pan American Games hosted close to 7,000 athletes from across North America, Latin America, South America and the Caribbean. To inaugurate the opening of the games in Toronto, event organizers enlisted the assistance of 45 DEGREES who brought on Martin Labrecque to oversee the lighting design. Working with Solotech, Labrecque would be challenged to create a hybrid design between theatrical and rock-n-roll and he did so using 60 VL4000 Spot luminaires from Philips Vari-Lite.
