NEW YORK – Tasked with lighting two events over two nights on a limited budget, LD Rob Strohmeier turned to 4Wall New York for the equipment needed for the 2014 CLIO Genius Visionary Awards (pictured here) and the CLIO Awards after party the following night.  4Wall provided ETC Source Four Ellipsoidals, Chroma-Q Color Force 12 units, TMB’s Solaris Flare, Martin MAC Auras and Clay Paky Sharpy fixtures.

ShowDome at Earth Science Center in Scotland Gets Upgrade from Electrosonic

EDINBURGH, Scotland – The ShowDome at Our Dynamic Earth (ODE) in Edinburgh has been transformed with support from Electrosonic, which provided refurbishment and technical upgrades to one of Scotland’s biggest attractions.  In a two-phase project, Electrosonic has given the space a full-dome projection upgrade, a new theater layout, 106 new seats, and a state-of-the-art server and content management system. The ShowDome’s current presentation is Supervolcanoes.

NEW YORK – Two Broadway designers who are also Yale School of Drama colleagues, Jane Greenwood and Wendall Harrington, will receive USITT Distinguished Achievement Awards in 2015.
