The Colours of Ostrava music festival returned to the former Vítkovice steelworks in Ostrava, Czech Republic over four days in mid-July. Prague-based SMART Production oversaw staging, rigging, lighting, video and audio for most of the stages, with the Liberty Stage getting extra visual impact with a Robe-centered rig provided by rental specialist AV Media Events.

The annual Summer Night Concert (Das Sommernachtskonzert) by the Vienna Philharmonic at the illustrious Schönbrunn Palace is the second biggest show every year in Austria, only outdone by the world-class orchestra’s renowned New Year’s Concert.
