Andrea Bocelli Performance at Sicily’s Noto Cathedral Lit with Prolights Gear

NOTO, Italy – Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli performed in late October on the steps of Noto Cathedral in Sicily, a Unesco heritage site. LD Massimo Tomasino lit Bocelli along with the orchestra and choir of the Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania, directed by Alberto Bartalini with a rig that included fixtures from Italy-based lighting manufacturer Prolights.

FAREHAM, U.K. – Nothing But Thieves recently played a rocking series of ‘Live from The Warehouse’ pay-per-view live stream concerts from lighting rental specialist Liteup’s warehouse in the U.K. LD Warren Hutchison and lighting director Tim Perrett used a Robe-centered rig for the performances, which were seen as far away as the U.S., Australia and Asia.

SYDNEY – For a recent two-day video shoot, country artist Keith Urban and production partner Human Person used the new live event studio that Big Picture launched earlier this year to serve the changing needs of musicians during the Covid-19 shutdowns. Urban’s performances were seen on late night broadcasts in the U.S. along with iHeartRadio Music Festival 2020 and Good Morning America.
