The Lir Academy was established in 2011 to provide students with the highest standards of training for careers in the theatre, TV and film industries. The Lir’s Director of Technical Training, Barry Conway, identified networking in lighting as an area of focus for the Academy’s new Bachelor in Stage Management and Technical Theatre degree course.
