LOS ANGELES  – Country trio Lady Antebellum is spanning the globe on their You Look Good World Tour of arenas and amphitheaters accompanied by Claypaky Mythos2 fixtures and grandMA2 consoles. The multi-Grammy winners just released “Heart Break,” their seventh studio album.  The You Look Good World Tour commenced in Bakersfield, California in May, crosses North America this summer and makes stops in Europe and South Africa before wrapping in October.

GLP says the response among LDs to its JDC1 hybrid LED strobe has been more than encouraging since the unit made its debut at PL+S in Frankfurt earlier this year. The fixture features a traditional single tube element offering bright white output from 216 white LEDs. The fixture then adds color LED capabilities using 1,320 RGB LEDs. And the two RGB plates can be divided into six separate ‘pixel’ sections on each plate and then operated with full pixel mapping control for a variety of effects that can then be punctuated by a series of high intensity flashes from the tube-configured white LEDs.
