SI Breaks Optical Screen Barrier: Launches Black Diamond XL, Slate XL, and Solar XL

AUSTIN, TX——Projection screen manufacturer Screen Innovations (SI), was founded in 2003 with one simple goal: to bring the big screen experience out of the dark. LONDON– d3 Technologies will introduce its new gx range to the US market at InfoComm 2017, June 14-16, in the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando.  The d3 team, who will be in Booth 4069, will also display their popular pro range. Prototypes of the gx range were previously shown at Prolight + Sound, Frankfurt, 2017.  The new media servers are designed to facilitate generative content, which is becoming a progressively important part of live show design.

Christie’s new Spyder X80 multi-window processor promises four times the pixel management capacity of other image processors on the market. Well suited for the demands posed by today’s higher image resolutions, Christie Spyder X80 can handle 4K video at a 60Hz refresh rate on a single channel.  The Spyder X80 will be featured at Christie’s booth 2553 at InfoComm in Orlando, FL June 14-16.

Roland’s “Mark II” version of its V-800HD Multi-Format Video Switcher has been updated based on feedback from end users and system designers. The V-800HD MK II includes new dedicated switches for AUX source selection, promising enhanced visibility and operability. The interface has also been tweaked. An advanced keyer lets users adjust phase range, amount of chroma and other parameters based on the HSV color space that is closely related to human chromatic sensation, promising high quality and tight key compositions, especially when using 1080p video sources.
