EDINBURGH, Scotland – For the last 11 years  spectacular large format projections that have graced Edinburgh Castle creating a dramatic and dynamic backdrop for the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo season. They have just become  brighter with a new video projection system specified by digital artist Ross Ashton from The Projection Studio. The 12 Panasonic PT-DW17K2 projectors have been purchased by the Tattoo and are running for the first time during the 2016 program.

But time is running out — the nominations deadline for both the Parnelli Awards and the IT Awards this year is Aug. 24, 2016, at 8 a.m., Pacific time. (Those on the East Coast get until 11 a.m. before the nominations window slams shut.) These nominations will form the basis of the Parnelli ballot, which will be posted in early September. Final voting takes place throughout September.

BRAUNSCHWEIG, Germany – The Braunschweig Symphony Orchestra performed its 10th annual ‘Pop Meets Classic’ concert with a lighting rig that included Philips’ Showline SL BEAM 300fx LED luminaires.
