JOHANNESBURG, South Africa – Sets, Drapes, Screen (SDS) took delivery of an additional 14 AV Stumpfl screens (a mixture of the manufacturer-patented FullWhite borderless screens and wide-format screens), this May. The new stock will be evenly deployed between the Cape Town and Johannesburg branches to ensure a mirrored stock holding in both centers. The busy set company has also invested in the same make of borderless screens tailor-made for the Cape Town International Convention Centre, where sister Company INHOUSE Venue Technical Management is the venue’s in-house supplier. The product line includes 3 different pixel pitches to accommodate differing viewing distances, including 4.8mm, 5.9mm and 6.9mm. This product uses black face LEDs for a high contrast display. Each Phantom Panel has an aluminum casting on the bottom of the panel to keep the modules from making contact with the ground. This feature also helps protect the LEDs during on-site assembly.
