NASHVILLE – Rascal Flatts may have only just wrapped their hit Las Vegas residency earlier this month, but the ACM “Vocal Group of the Year” nominees are already back on the road carrying a lighting package provided by long time vendor Bandit Lites. By using more than 180 GRNLite LED Pars, Vari*Lite VL3000 Spots, VL3500 Washes, Martin Atomic Strobes and Moles, LD Andy Knighton and production manager Jay Schwartz focused on keeping the rig for the spring run of one-offs modest and affordable, while still infusing the entire space with light.

HSL Supplies Lights to War of the Worlds in the West End

BLACKBURN, U.K. – Lighting and visuals specialist HSL is supplying lighting and production rigging for the theatrical staging of Jeff Wayne’s 1978 cult album, “War of the Worlds,” at the Dominion Theatre, Tottenham Court Road, London, produced by Bill Kenwright. The work is based on HG Wells’ 1879 novel about a Martian invasion and is being played completely with a mix of orchestral and electronic musicians conducted by Wayne himself.
