LAS VEGAS – Chauvet Professional reported significant interest in products featured at the recent LDI show, with new product offerings including their 5-color LED ellipsoidal, as well as a single source RGBW IP65-rated wash and a new touring version of their ÉPIX Series.
LAS VEGAS – Robe Lighting credited its BMFL Wash and BMFL Wash XF luminaires for drawing crowds to its booth at LDI this year, the company’s biggest booth at that show to date. Industry bands The Brobes and Swingin Johnsons (pictured here) drew crowds to the booth as well.

As part of the split it was also confirmed that Lighting & Sound America will remain a publication of the U.K. arm of PLASA, while Protocol will revert to PLASA North America (formerly ESTA).

Dietmar Harting (Dr.-Ing. E.h.) handed over the position of Chairman of the Board to his son Philip Harting on Oct. 1. While retaining a key role on the board, this move transfers many of Dietmar Harting’s previous responsibilities over to his son, Philip.
LOS ANGELES – Lighting designer Benoit Richard, of Millennium Lighting Design, Inc, chose his first use of Ayrton MagicDot-R fixtures for the video shoot used for NBC’s NFL Sunday Night Football, employing 60 units in his design.

TILBROOK, Cambridgshire, U.K. – LD Guy Thatcher used the new Zero 88 FLX lighting console by Eaton at the 2015 Tilfest event, which serves up a combination of music and ale to attendees. Thatcher used the desk at the main stage for the event, which was staged in a marquee on the grounds of the White Horse pub in Tilbrook, Cambridgshire.
