Christie Digital Partners with the Urban Digital Laboratory of the Quartier des Spectacles

MONTREAL — The Quartier des Spectacles Partnership announced its collaboration with Christie Digital System on June 10, 2015. The relationship involves the supply of projection equipment for the Urban Digital Laboratory (UDL), which presents digital works in the Quartier des Spectacles. The arrangement makes the California-based company, whose Canadian headquarters is in Kitchener, Ontario, the UDL’s official major partner.

U.K. Racing Event to Support Behind the Scenes on June 17

SURREY, U.K. – Members of the U.K. entertainment technology industry will be converging at the Sandown Park Racecourse in Surrey on June 17 to take part in the Behind the Scenes Go-Karting Day. Thirty teams of six drivers will put their driving skills and powers of endurance to the test for three hours of open air racing, and it’s all in aid of Behind the Scenes, the charity that provides financial support to entertainment technology industry professionals who fall ill or become injured, or to their surviving family members.

Barco Projectors Chosen for Anheuser-Busch’s Oculto Beer Launch in Miami

MIAMI, FL – DWP Live and projection mapping artists Integrated Visions Productions relied on Barco projectors for a large-format projection April 30-May 1 on the Intercontinental Hotel in Miami. Part of a national advertising campaign promoting Anheuser-Busch’s “Oculto” beer, the project made use of nine DWP-supplied Barco HDF-W26 projectors, triple-stacked in portrait mode to light up the 360-foot-tall building’s facade.
