Sam Hunt ‘Leaves The Lights’ To Bandit

NASHVILLE, TN – For Sam Hunt’s recent Lipstick Graffiti tour with lighting provided by Bandit Lites, designer Mark Steinwachs worked with production manager Bob Harmon and manager Brad Belanger to create powerful lighting looks using only one or two colors per song. Programming was provided by John Lucksinger. Bandit VP Mike Golden worked with Steinwachs and Bandit’s director of technical services Jake Tickle on the rig, which includes GLP X4S, Elation Cuepix Blinders, Chauvet Colordash Accents and Bandit GRN Washes.

Empire State Building’s Art-Inspired Light Show to Coincide with Whitney Museum’s Move Downtown

NEW YORK — On May 1, a light show crafted by LD Marc Brickman and inspired by Whitney Museum artwork from Andy Warhol, Mark Rothko, Georgia O’Keeffe and Edward Hopper, among others, will bring attention to the opening of the new Whitney Museum of American Art. The new building, designed by Renzo Piano, is the white building in the foreground of this shot that includes the Empire State Building.

Christie Donates Digital Projector to Kansas Town Hit by Tornado

GREENSBURG, KS — On May 4, 2007, a EF5 tornado packing 205 mph winds devastated the town of Greensburg, Kansas. Nearly all of the town’s structures were leveled, including the historic Twilight Theatre, which dated back to 1917. Determined residents rebuilt the town, and the theatre. Christie assisted by donating a digital projector, which was used for a red-carpet live reopening event that included a free screening of the 1985 hit movie, Back to the Future.
