Upstage Video Provides LED Screens for FIFA World Cup Viewing Parties

BETHLEHEM, PA – Upstage Video provided LED screens for World Cup viewing parties in major cities across the country. The viewing party in Bethlehem, PA (pictured here) was one of a select few outdoor viewing events officially approved by FIFA. More than 50,000 fans gathered at the SteelStacks arts and cultural campus on 12 separate game days to view the event on Upstage Video’s 17’x27’ Daktronics PST-12HD Mobile LED Screen. That screen is even larger than FIFA’s official soccer goal dimensions (8 by 24 feet).

Ai Media Servers Used for Coldplay’s RAH “Mushroom” Projections

LONDON —Coldplay’s shows at Royal Albert Hall here July 1-2 wrapped a brief, six-date tour in support of Ghost Stories, their May 2014 album release. Video director Ben Miles lit up the hall’s 86 “mushrooms” — ceiling mounted acoustic diffusion disks — with video-mapped projections, with an assist from four Ai Media S8 Infinity servers from Avolites Media.

WorldStage Supports Milken Institute Global Conference

LOS ANGELES – WorldStage marked its tenth year providing A/V support for the Milken Institute Global Conference. More than 130 WorldStage technicians were on site to ensure the success of the event, and a total of 33 HD cameras were supplied. Along with video support, WorldStage also furnished extensive audio and lighting facilities that included a large complement of audio speakers, wired and wireless mics, digital audio consoles and intercom systems, as well as a package of conventional and LED lighting for 11 rooms.
