Temple Media Boosts Tall Ships With PR Lighting Products
PR Lighting and Temple Media teamed up to provide all staging and technical infrastructure for the SCF Black Sea Tall Ships Regatta Constanta 2014. The lighting design incorporated PR Lighting’s XR 200 Beam and XLED 1037 wash lights. “The artists’ production teams were delighted by our choice of lights — particularly the XR 200 Beams,” said Dan Chiorcioiu. “In fact they told us these beams were so bright and powerful that they could be seen way out at sea, like a light from a lighthouse.”

Read More »Painting With Light Illuminates the Spektakel Musical
MECHELEN, Belgium – Painting With Light provided the lighting for Spektakel Musical, which commemorates the death and destruction of the First World War which started a century ago in 1914. Virtual wing space with light curtains were created to conceal mobile scenery trucks offstage. The same concept is used to mask off different depths along the performance space as the location of the action shifts up and down the hall. There is a left and right vertical light curtain and four horizontal ones made up from a total of 465 Vari*Lite V*L5s and 28 bars of four ACLs.

STEVENAGE, U.K. – Lighting rental company HSL supplied an extensive lighting package – including 140 new Philips Nitro LED strobes along with 60 Robe LEDBeam 100s – for the Prodigy at Sonisphere 2014, which was held in Knebworth Park here this year. The lighting rig, which includes complements the “aircraft hangar” look created by show designer Andy Hurst. He also deployed that look for the band’s New Years Eve show at London’s O2 Arena earlier this year.
