CYPRESS, CA – FOR-A’s HVS-XT video production switcher series has proven a popular fit for a wide range of applications. The HVS-XT100 comes with a separate main unit and control panel, while the HVS-XT110 features a compact, integrated design.  Both units include: mixed HD/SD input, frame synchronization, multi-viewer capability, re-sizing engine, 2.5D wipe effects, DVE and keyer with chroma key. Two freely assignable Keyers and DSKs channels also come standard. A built-in Web server allows users to adjust settings from a PC or a tablet.

Bandit Brings Light To Largest Global Finals Competition

KNOXVILLE, TENN. – Bandit Lites provided the lighting for the Global Finals of Destination Imagination, where teams from around the world gathered to compete in challenges created to stretch their creativity and logical skills. Using 24 hexagonal truss structures to ensure every inch of the stage was covered, LD Giff Swart utilized Bandit’s GRNLite moving head wash for lighting that would ‘punch’ even in color washes. Two Vari-Lite 3000 Spots were used to project custom-made gobos 135’ clear across the arena, and Bandit tech Shawn Beaulieu added color in them, resulting in the crowd of 16,000 being able to see the intricate designs from that throw distance. Furthermore, GRN pars were used as truss toners, and crazy chase effects with saturated colors created for excitement.

Colour Sound For We Are FSTVL

LONDON – This year’s We Are FSTVL upped the ante on several fronts, expanding the event to two days, increasing the level of production and securing an action-packed line-up with main stage headliners Richie Hawtin and Fatboy Slim. Providing the visual spectacle for this EDM event, Colour Sound Experiment deployed five trucks of kit, 26 crew, around 500 square metres of their proprietary BT LED screen, over 350 moving lights and a shed-pile of strobes, blinders and atmospheric effects to the site, where all their elements were co-ordinated by Crew Chief Andy Melleney.
