HOLLYWOOD, CA — Richard Rutherford of Rutherford Design was looking to help the venerable Hollywood Improv improve its lighting with new color mixing technology, for the comedians performing on the venue’s 6-by-12-foot stage. He opted for a setup from Chauvet Professional that includes four COLORado1 VW Tour quad-color warm white/cool white LED pars, 24 SlimPAR Pro RGBA par fixtures and for SlimPAR Pro VW par fixtures from Chauvet DJ.

Villa Mix Festival Rig Includes 200 D.T.S. Moving Heads

GOIANIA — The Villa Mix Festival, a Mecca for what has been described as Brazil’s version of “country” music, drew 60,000 fans here recently with seven major artists including headliners Jorge e Mateus, Gustavo Lima, and Bruno e Marrone. Back Light provided 200 D.T.S. moving heads for the eight-hour event, staged at Serra Dourada Stadium. The rig included 60 Raptor, 70 NRG 1201, 36 XR3000 Spot, 26 XR3000 BEAM and 10 Delta 10 fixtures.
