Electrosonic Provides AV Systems for FDR Presidential Library

HYDE PARK, NY – The Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum in Hyde Park, New York, has reopened after a three-year refurbishing of the building which FDR gave to the nation through the National Archives. It not only includes his extensive presidential papers but also Roosevelt’s collections of ship models, rare books, coins and diplomatic gifts receivedfrom other governments. AV systems integration by Electrosonic, working under exhibit fabricator Explus, supports the museum’s narrative and helps visitors interpret a large array of exhibits.

Pearl Jam toured North America in 2013 with shows that followed the July release of “Mind Your Manners,” the lead single off the band’s 10th studio album, Lightning Bolt (the album debuted a few months later, in mid-October, 2013). As with any big-name act with songs that have achieved iconic status, audiences have come to expect a huge “wow” factor in terms of a complex interplay of visual elements tightly synched with the music. But for Pearl Jam, that mandate was offset with the band’s directive to focus on the music, and not the “stuff” surrounding it.
