BREA, CA – Live Nation hired Visions Lighting to provide lighting, video, rigging, staging and special effects for all four of Korean pop band Big Bang’s US tour dates. Visions Lighting’s work extended into recreating a set piece as well within a 36-hour turnaround time, which was missing key parts on its journey from Korea. All Access Staging & Productions provided staging and lifts as well.

SYDNEY – Currently playing at Sydney’s Lyric Theatre, Legally Blonde The Musical is lit by Kenneth Posner and Paul Miller with Hugh Hamilton acting as associate for the Australian Tour. The set and lighting design for the Australian production comes from the London production of the musical held at the Savoy Theatre. The Lyric Theatre’s house rig of Vari-Lite moving fixtures and more than 200 ETC Source Fours play big roles in the production.

LD Marc Janowitz Specs GLP X4s on My Morning Jacket Tour
LOS ANGELES – Production Designer/LD Marc Janowitz specified 50 GLP impression X4s on My Morning Jacket’s US tour. The tour is using a festoon-like hanging system. There are 10 soft, swooped hanging positions suspended between the trusses in the overhead grid, with five of the X4s on each. These festoons travel pre-rigged and cabled, and once the grid is hung, they can be fully deployed in about 10 minutes.
