Starlite Upgrades 19th Century School with 21st Century Technology

TRENTON, NJ – Starlite Productions, in coordination with design consultants Schuler Shook and electrical contractors A.C. Scott, upgraded the theatrical lighting and rigging for The Lawrenceville School located just north of Trenton, NJ. The new power and control systems installed are an example of the hybrid systems that are becoming more prevalent in today’s production lighting.  The theater staff still relies heavily on traditional dimming, but is now also able to bring LEDs, moving lights, and other effects units seamlessly into their productions.

AV Unlimited’s technical production manager and LD Victor Vermaak explains that initially the venue would not let them fly any lights off of their roof beams, but with the low weight (4.4 kgs) of the Robe LEDBeam 100, they gave the go-ahead for the fixtures to be installed.
