LONDON – Timed for London’s Olympic summer is the new stage adaptation of the classic British film “Chariots of Fire,” telling the story of a much earlier Olympic Games. To supply the lighting for the show, LD Rick Fisher turned to his regular collaborator White Light. The company also supplied external lighting to the Gielgud Theatre for a performance by Vangelis of his Chariots of Fire theme as the Olympic Torch passed the theatre.

LOUIS – For an outdoor production of “Dreamgirls,” LD Seth Jackson called upon wireless and battery-operated CHAUVET fixtures to light six 16-ft. mobile truss towers that freely move across its 94-ft. stage. “The truss towers are large pieces. The boutique festival, now in its 10th year, battled with wet weather on the set-up.
