Read More »LAS VEGAS – Cirque du Soleil approached Pyrotek Special Effects in early 2011 to add more magic to Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour. The vision was to bring to life everything Jackson would want to include into a show with his extensive catalog of music. Pyrotek Designers Doug Adams and Lorenzo Cornacchia worked closely with the show creators to produce effects for 24 scenes within the rock concert/dance/circus show.

Read More »DURHAM, UK – Lumière 2011 features the work of dozens of artists, lighting designers and community groups in 35 installations, bringing a “sparkle of magic” to the medieval city of Durham. The highlight was Crown of Light, a son-et-lumière that uses the architecture of Durham Cathedral as its canvas. Created by projection artist Ross Ashton, Crown of Light
involved a team of specialists including The Projection Studio and White Light Ltd.
Robe moving lights took centerstage for the most recent series of “Let’s Dance” in Slovakia on Markiza TV. Director of Photography Vlado Valko used rental company Q-99’s new Robe ROBIN 300 fixtures for the weekly show set at the Incheba Expo in Bratislava.
