Live performance trailblazer, Björk continues touring her Cornucopia theatrical masterwork globally through 2023. It’s a fantastic example of using lighting inventively to enhance a much larger mixed media picture that captures the varied expressions, emotions, moments, and messages of Björk’s work. The elegant lighting design is co-designed by UK-based creatives Richard White and Bruno Poet.
The metal bands Gojira and Mastodon are out in 2023 on their co-headlining Mega-Monsters Tour. Lighting Designer Pete Cary has been with Grammy Award-nominated Gojira for six-and-a-half years, while Lighting Designer Eric Price has been lighting the Grammy Award-winning Mastodon for just over a year. Always full of unexpected moments, the 21st Annual Parnelli Awards on April 14, 2023, was no exception. May 6th, the world turned its eyes to Westminster Abbey. The coronation of King Charles III was held here in front of 2,300 invited guests. One day later, more than 20,000 visitors attended another Royal highlight: in front of the magnificent scenery of Windsor Castle, the official Coronation Concert took place with live performances by global stars such as Katy Perry, Take That, and Lionel Richie as well as an emotional speech by Prince William.
