LOS ANGELES — Divas returned to VH1 after a five-year hiatus, with Paula Abdul hosting the live show telecast from the stage at the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Howard Gilman Opera House. LD Tom Kenny used a lighting rig that included Coemar Infinity Wash XLS and Infinity ACL S moving heads supplied by Atomic Lighting.

UVLD Adds Theatrical Touch to Avon Leadership Conference

LAS VEGAS — Avon has been calling on Unlimited Visibility Lighting Design (UVLD) for the last 15 years to light  many of its corporate events. Most recently, UVLD’s Greg Norgeot and Paul Sharwell, Avon’s lighting designer and programmer, teamed up for the company’s annual Leadership National Conference at the Paris Las Vegas hotel and casino.

London Fashion Week Lit with i-Pix Gear

LONDON — During the recent London Fashion Week (LFW), LD Nick Gray’s lighting rig for the British Fashion Council (BFC) tent at Somerset House needed to put on and discard a variety of looks for up to eight shows a day. Gray’s design company, Renegade, was asked to light several venues for LFW. At the BFC tent Renegade worked with the production company, Bacchus.
