PixelFLEX’s FLEXLite NXG panels have front-serviceable video panels and right-angle corner capabilities. The panels also feature 2.6-6.25mm pixel pitch options and a high refresh rate. The front-serviceable panel feature gives users quick and easy access to perform any onsite adjustments. The right-angle capabilities let users seamlessly create any cubes or corner screens that might be needed. FLEXLite NXG panels are 500mm x 500mm and use a die-cast aluminum frame. Available in an IP65 version (6.25mm), FLEXLite NXG tiles are calibrated to ensure consistent color and brightness, and the front-serviceable panels allow for quick and simple on-site adjustments.

Blizzard’s Stiletto I7 multi-effect moving head features beam and wash capabilities along with rotating gobos. The Stiletto I7 comes with seven 15W Osram RGBW LED moduless and an infinite rotating lens for kaleidoscopic effects using LED beam projection.

Area Four Industries released its latest catalog for EXE Technology rigging and automation products. The company notes that the D8 range now features an 8:1 safety factor with new load capacities of 250 kg / 500 kg /1000 kg / 2000 kg and the D8+ range has new load capacities of 150 kg / 300 kg / 600 kg / 1200 kg. All EXE-Rise hoists now feature a double brake, updated identification labeling and black plugs and sockets. A new 8 x 24mm chain also brings added safety to 1000 – 2000 kg hoists, and Dynamic Stack Tracks from the EXE-DST range have updated data, new modules and new configurations.

SUNRISE, FL – The brightest LED ellipsoidal on the market had the spotlight turned on it recently when Worship Facilities, the official magazine of WFX, presented a 2016 New Product Award to the CHAUVET Professional Ovation E-260WW.  The warm white LED ellipsoidal, which has an output that exceeds that of an HPL 750W fixture, was the third product in the Ovation line to receive the Worship Facilities award since 2013.

Roland’s new VR-4HD High-Definition AV Mixer is designed to serve as an easy-to-use, compact and portable AV mixer that integrates a digital audio mixer, video switcher, multi-viewer touch screen and USB video/audio streaming interface into a stand-alone device. The VR-4HD has three dedicated HDMI input connectors compatible with a variety of equipment and offering support for 1080p/1080i/720p video resolutions. A fourth input includes a scaler to support both video and computer resolutions and also supports analog RGB and component input, as well as HDMI, so older devices can be used as sources without the need for external conversion equipment. HDCP is supported for input of copy-protected content from devices such as Blu-ray disc players. The Roland VR-4HD High-Definition AV Mixer will be available in December 2016.

LOS ANGELES – SmallHD announces a free firmware update that adds an array of new features to increase the functionality of its groundbreaking line of 13”, 17”, 24” and 32” production monitors, including the HDR (high dynamic range) displays. Zylight will showcase a variety of professional LED lighting instruments for broadcast, film, and stage production at the NAB Show New York, which runs Nov. 9-10 at the Javits Convention Center. Co-exhibiting with distribution partner Ushio in Booth 325, Zylight will demonstrate its own lights as well as options from Aladdin and LDDE, which the company distributes exclusively throughout North and South America. For broadcast news, Zylight’s Newz on-camera light delivers a soft yet punchy white light with true color reproduction and variable color temperatures. Ideal for studio or location applications, the F8-200 LED Fresnel is brighter than a 400-watt HMI Fresnel and can be powered by AC or dual battery configuration. Zylight will also demonstrate the new ZyLink Bridge, a lightweight, wireless fob that allows the free ZyLink App for iOS devices to communicate with the ZyLink wireless control found in most Zylight fixtures.
