Juice Goose adds on to its standard iP Series power distribution units with three models designed for integration with SNMP control systems.  They developed a subset of the iP Series products that can be controlled with an SNMP command platform. Those products include iP 1515-SNMP, iP 1520-SNMP and iP PD1-4-SNMP. The 1515 and 1520 models feature AC line filtration and surge protection.

Since its announcement at Prolight + Sound earlier this year, the Ethernet DMX Node XND-4 has been successfully used on the road and put in service in several venues. A main feature of the XND-4 is its simplicity; its configuration is designed for optimum simplicity with important settings and status information easily visible.

AMSTERDAM – Blackmagic Design launched new DeckLink Mini Monitor 4K and DeckLink Mini Recorder 4K PCIe capture cards that include all the features of the HD models but include new Ultra HD and HDR (high dynamic range) features. These new cards are available in two models, DeckLink Mini Monitor 4K and DeckLink Mini Recorder 4K and both models support all SD, HD and Ultra HD formats up to 2160p30. DeckLink Mini 4K models are available from Blackmagic Design resellers worldwide for only $195 each.

AMSTERDAM – Blackmagic Design’s Teranex A is, a new broadcast quality standards converter designed specifically for AV professionals. Teranex AV features 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0a inputs, outputs and loop through, along with AV specific features such as low latency, a still store, freeze frame, and HiFi audio inputs for professionals working on live, staged presentations and conferences. Teranex AV will be available in September for $1,695 from Blackmagic Design resellers worldwide.

ARRI expands its range of SkyPanel LED soft lights with the new S120-C, the biggest member of the SkyPanel family, joining other products in the line, including S60 and S30 products. The S120 is twice as long as the S60, but weighs nearly the same. Its larger light aperture also promises to benefits for users.

Mega-Lite’s Medusa 4x5R is designed to offer four moving heads on one base that rotates infinitely in both directions. Each head has one 5R lamp and 104-degree tilt. Featuring rotating gobos, color wheel, and 8 facet prism, the Medusa 4x5R promises to give LDs the ultimate in eye- candy effects.

Christie’s Phoenix product line expands with the Phoenix EP (Embedded Processor). Launched at ASIS 2016, the Phoenix AP is designed to serve as a compact, highly scalable solution for managing content on single or multiple panels. The Phoenix EP units install directly into compatible Christie displays – which also provide power – and the units can connect directly to networks using CATx cable.

MUNICH – ARRI is pleased to announce that development of the ALEXA SXT cameras (Super Xtended Technology) is completed. ARRI will now make good on its promise to provide upgrades to all ALEXA XT EV, ALEXA XT Plus and ALEXA XT Studio cameras shipped in 2015 and 2016.
