ETC Updates Mosaic Show Controller X with Smaller Version

ETC updated its Unison Mosaic Show Controller X (MSCX) with a smaller version housed in a one-unit, 19-inch rack-mount enclosure. Ayrton MagicBurst LED Strobe

Ayrton’s MagicBurst is a new high-power graphic LED strobe featuring continuous, unlimited rotation on its pan and tilt axis. The fixture, which is the company’s first strobe unit, first burst onto the world stage at Prolight + Sound 2016 in Frankfurt, Germany earlier this year. MagicBurst’s 384 x 384 mm squared face supports 3,840 high-output white LEDs grouped into 64 pixels on an 8 x 8 matrix. With a new ultra-compact 1,300W power supply, MagicBurst promises peak light output of more than 240,000 lumens (calibrated at 5600K) for several seconds, and the fixture can put that into continuous rotation.

The wiSCAPE Gateway manages up to 1,000 wiSCAPE fixture modules, controlling dimming, scheduling and motion detection features.  For enhanced network management and security, the device operates on Windows 7 Professional Edition. IT Administrators can easily manage it as they do all the PCs on their network. The wiSCAPE Gateway is now available with BACnet IP built-in support.

The Laserworld Group started distributing Lasergraph DSP in April 2016, making the high-end DSP show control systems more affordable through a new licensing model. Due to “Master-Slave” licensing it is possible to combine several low priced slave-units with one master unit only. Along with the pricing structure, the user interface has changed with the latest release of the LG-Remote remote control software for the DSP. Laserworld notes that the redesign and partial rearrangement of features dramatically improved the look and feel of the software itself.
