Blizzard Lighting’s ThunderStik linear wash light has five 15W RGBW Quad-Color OSRAM LEDs with pixel control and a narrow 5-degree beam angle. The fixture also features a quiet-moving 250-degree motorized tiltable head (with three-phase motors) and Y-axis rotation as well. ThunderStik also comes with a set of lens filters to diffuse the fixture’s sharp output to a soft color blend, increasing the beam angle up to 30 or 60 degrees. Users can control the ThunderStik in either Reduced Mode (12-channel) or Standard Mode (32-channel). Both allow smooth 0-100 percent linear dimming, multiple strobe effects, macro effects, RGBW color mixing, separate background color control, built-in patterns, and speed controllable scanner effects. This fixture is equipped with a four-button LCD control panel, compact and sleek housing, powerCON compatible power in/out connections, 3-pin/5-pin DMX in/out jacks and integral Omega mounts. The fixture is also backed with Blizzard’s two-year warranty. MSRP is $899.99.

Flex Rental Solutions released version 4.16.3 of the company’s flagship web-based rental management software during the first week of May. This is the fourth major (and fifth total) software release by the company since the start of 2016. This newest release includes several new features, performance improvements, and bug fixes.

FRANKFURT, Germany – DTS Lighting has more details on three of their new products that were unveiled at Prolight + Sound in early April, including their Katana, Core and Nick NRG 1401 fixtures. 

TekVox’s TekFlex-12 seamless high definition switcher promises to replace all inputs and outputs with 12 individual slots that can be independently populated.  The product will debut at InfoComm 2016, June 8-10, at the Las Vegas Convention Center (Booth #N1715).

Blizzard Lighting’s Stiletto Glo19 beam and wash luminaire promises both sharp beams and wash capabilities. It is an 11° to 58° zoomable wash moving-head with under-the-lens “Glo” effects. This moving head fixture is equipped with 19 15-Watt Osram 4-in-1 RGBW LEDs with RGB color mixing Glo control on a secondary LED array underneath the lens plate for the background glow effect.

ADJ’s Stinger II builds on its predecessor, combining an upgraded UV LED strobe feature with red/green laser beams. The Stinger II’s features list starts with six 5W hex-color (RGBA + White + Pink) LEDs. Next is the 30mW red/green laser. Then there’s the circle of eight atmosphere-enhancing UV 3W LEDs, replaces the original Stinger’s white LEDs. Along with strobe effects, these can be used for UV washes and color-embellishment. The Stinger II also offers 15 pre-set colors and stepper motor technology (1.8°) for accurate positioning and dynamic movement.

PARIS – After pioneering highly efficient and color accurate Remote Phosphor LED lighting, BBS Lighting applied this technology to create the first Bank LED Remote Phosphor lights. Bank systems have long been popular due to their versatility and convenient form factor. BBS has improved on the classic light bank by adding the benefits of Remote Phosphor technology in the Pipeline 4-Bank, 3’ and 4’ systems.

Harman’s Martin debuted two additions to the P3 System Controller family of LED video processors at Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt last month, and in early May announced v4.2.0, a feature-packed software upgrade for the entire line of P3 System Controller, including P3-050/100/150/200/300/PC and P3-on-Hippo.
