Mega-Lite Baby Color VW

Mega-Lite’s Baby Color VW is designed to serve as a bright variable white fixture that is ultra-compact in size. The unit is equipped with 7 5W LEDs and has less than a 5” square body. The fixture has a 20°beam angle and comes with a diffuser that increases the beam angle to 25°. The Baby Color VW is controllable via DMX 512 and has amber, warm white, cool white, dimmer, CTO and strobe channels. It also has the control options audio trigger and master slave. The Baby Color VW has a double mounting yoke so it can to be set on the floor or hang from a structure. It has a digital display designed for ease of use. And the unit is equipped with power con in and out and 3-pin or 5-pin XLR connections.

ADJ describes its Crazy Pocket 8 as a pocket-sized version of the original Crazy 8. The Crazy Pocket 8 has dual-tilting bars, each with four lenses and 205-degree tilt. There are eight 3W LEDs (two red, two green, two blue, two amber), a rotating base (with 540-degree pan) and a capacity for  8-zone LED chases. ADJ has also designed the fixture to offer intense strobe and pulse effects, while 0-100% electronic dimming.

Chauvet Professional Maverick MK2 Spot

Chauvet Professional’s Maverick MK2 Spot, launched at Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt, Germany in early April, is now available. The first of the company’s new Maverick series fixtures, the Maverick MK2 Spot makes use of a 440-watt LED engine to produce an illuminance of 2,518 to 18,079 lux at 5 meters, depending on the zoom angle. It also features a seven-position plus white color wheel along with a wide range of colors from its CMY and variable CTO color mixing system.

Laserworld Details New Visual Possibilities Enabled by RTI NEO SIX RGB Units Featured at PL+S

FRANKFURT, Germany – Laserworld Group detailed some of the new laser gear and technologies deployed at the Prolight+Sound exhibition in Frankfurt earlier this month including the twelve RTI NEO SIX RGB units on the PRG/LEA Stage. With 12 beam arrays, LD Jerry P. Appelt was able to control a total of 72 individual laser beams via DMX in 16bit fine positioning mode. Along with the new RTI units, Laserworld-owned tarm lasers were featured. The laser show was controlled through Lasergraph DSP laser control software and hardware, in combination with grandMA2 consoles.
