Middle Atlantic Products’ UTB Series Universal TechBox is designed to allow installers to mount AV equipment such as the Crestron 3-Series 4K DigitalMedia Presentation System 150 discreetly underneath a table surface within meeting spaces. The UTB Series Universal TechBox can also be used for other streaming solutions, as well as small devices, switchers, and interface accessories for audio, video, and/or HDMI.

Leica Geosystems’ DISTO laser distance meters and LINO self-leveling lasers promise to improve live entertainment production productivity and efficiency while delivering pinpoint accurate data to 1/16th of an inch. Flex Released 4.13.0 to customers in early January, 2016. ADJ’s ON-X mobile LED effect fixture offers eight 3W LEDs and flexible dual-head movement. The two red, two green, two blue and two white 3W LEDs have a 4-degree beam angle for beams in a range of colors, 270 degrees tilt movement and eight-zone chasing. The fixtures can be mounted vertically or horizontally and used by themselves or in multiples for strobing effects or with 0-100 percent electronic dimming. The three operating modes include Show, Sound Active and DMX-Controlled options, all selected from the unit’s four-button LED display.

LEDtronics’ LED T5 High Output Tube Light Kits are available in a choice of 2, 3, 4 or 6-tube kits. Touted for their competitive price and labor cost savings, they promise to fit into almost any fixture. They are designed to require only a single driver for up to 4 tubes and only two drivers for 6 tubes, and the UL-Recognized external drivers are included.

Roland noted that its compact and portable V-1HD Video Switcher, which can accommodate up to four HDMI audio/video sources with resolutions up to 1080p and features a host of professional compositing effects and creative video switching capabilities, is now shipping. The Roland V-1HD provides switching for up to four HDMI A/V sources including cameras, computers, tablets, smartphones and Blu-ray players, thanks to its HDCP copy protection support. Its high-definition output can be switched between 720p (from 720p inputs), 1080i or 1080p. In either 1080i or 1080p output mode, the V-1HD can accept both 1080p and 1080i input signals simultaneously, allowing use with a range of sources. It has a 12-channel audio mixer for mixing stereo audio from HDMI and external stereo audio sources and its dedicated microphone input. The V-1HD includes two HDMI program and preview outputs and a stereo audio output.

ADJ’s new free-to-download Airstream IR app lets users turn their handheld device into a universal infrared remote control compatible with a wide range of ADJ products. Recently, the company has added even more products to this list, including the Revo 4 IR and Micro Galaxian II.

ADJ’s AV6 video panels are designed for use in churches, nightclubs and bars, as well by high-end mobile entertainers and production companies on a budget. The AV6 has a pixel pitch of 0.25in, a pixel density of 27,777 pixel/m2 and a 3-in-1 SMD2121 LED source capable of producing 1200 NITS of brightness.

Rosco Laboratories’ LitePad HO90 (pictured here) and LitePad Axiom 90 (pictured below) are the evolution of Rosco’s edge-lit LED light source – both of which now offer High CRI (90+) output for accent and fill lighting. Rosco’s LitePad was one of the first LED solutions for image capture professionals and has been artfully illuminating scenes in television shows, feature films, and photo-shoots since 2006. At only 0.3” (8mm) thick, LitePad HO90 is able to fit in places where conventional light sources will not. LitePad Axiom 90 offers the same 5300K color temperature and soft, flattering High CRI (90+) light output as HO90, but is available in a metal housing that is designed not only to protect the light source, but also offers a variety of quick and easy mounting solutions.
