The all-in-one Laser Show control software Laserworld Showeditor 2015 comes standard with the LAN interface Laserworld ShowNET and has a ready-to-go live laser show interface as well as professional timeline-show programming capability. The software user interface is available in the languages English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Romanian, with more languages to follow soon.

Madrix announced that Version 3.5 of its LED lighting controller for 2D pixel mapping and real 3D voxel mapping is now available for download form madrix.com. In addition to English and Simplified Chinese, the main software and its accompanying Fixture Editor have been fully localized again and are now available completely in French and Spanish.

City Theatrical launched the latest version of their wireless DMX/RDM transceiver, SHoW DMX SHoW Baby 6. This version gives users a sixth SHoW ID to broadcast on, letting SHoW Baby users access CTI’s Maximum Bandwidth Technology. 

The Futurelight PLB-280 from Steinigke is designed to serve as a spot, beam and wash light – three fixtures in one. The moving head is equipped with a 280W Osram Sirius discharge lamp for a combination of power and flexibility. In beam mode, it demonstrates an extremely narrow beam angle of 2 degrees, which can be increased to 10 degrees with the motorized focus. The built-in 8-fold prism multiplies the sharp image and arranges it in a circle, while the 6-fold prism creates a linear image. Adding more creative possibilities are the 14 gobos and 13 colors on the color wheel. Using the moving head as spot, the zoom makes it possible to adjust the beam angle between 5.5 degrees and 23 degrees. In addition to the functions mentioned above, a gobo wheel with 9 rotating gobos can now be used. Gobos can be changed easily and quickly.

ArKaos has released the latest version of its video-jockey software, GrandVJ 2.1. The company notes that users will have access to a whole range of new features to make their parties and events easier to run and more creative than ever.

Christie’s Boxer line expands with the Christie Boxer 30, a 2K product for rental staging applications and permanent installations. Featured include omnidirectional functionality, integrated Near Field Communication (NFC), a preview screen and 1,500-hour lamp-life to 70 percent brightness. The 30K lumen Boxer weighs 160 pounds and features 2K imaging with optional upgrade licenses to 4K DLP.
