ADJ’s Illusion Dotz 4.4 is a pixel-mappable wash fixture that starts with a powerful COB LED source and adds unique movement. Although ADJ has used COB technology in previous Dotz series fixtures (including the Lightning COB Cannon and the Dotz TPar System), the new Illusion Dotz 4.4 promises to bring the technology to a new visual level.

Blackmagic Design’s latest update for its Teranex 2D, 3D and Express converters, Teranex 3.1, adds a new software application that lets customers remotely set up and change settings on their Teranex converters from a central location, as well as adding a new 12G-SDI to quad HD-SDI conversions to Teranex Express.

ARRI has provide a new light engine, dubbed Light Engine 2, for its L7-C LED Fresnel. ARRI says the change makes the fixture 25 percent brighter. The fixture achieves its luminous output while consuming only 160 watts, and is tunable for color temperatures ranging from 2800K to 10000K. Other features include green/magenta correction, hue and saturation control and more.

OmniSistem has taken their widely popular DF-V6 Pyrofog and added 21 3W RGB LEDs to create a multicolored vertical pyro effect. This upgrade also comes with a new look – new housing and a strapped in 2.5L liquid reservoir. The Pyrofog Pro packs a punch with fog output at 20,000 cubic feet per minute. This fogger can be controlled via included wireless remote or DMX (8 Channels). Use multiple units to create a color chasing effect with fog – a great way to WOW your audience! OmniSistem recommends only using high quality, water based fog or haze liquid, such as OmniFog or OmniHaze, in the Pyrofog Pro. 

PR Lighting has extended its XLED series with the release of the XLED 3007. Containing seven LEDs (4 in 1 RGBW), each rated at 20W, this is a larger version of the XLED 2007 and features a 6:1 zoom — one of many similar functions it shares with the company’s successful XLED 3019. And crucially, each LED is individually controllable.

Madrix says its Version 3.3 provides substantial improvements in all areas — from workflow, usability, and performance to a large number of enhanced or entirely new features. Highlights of the new version include two new Madrix Effects: SCE Clouds and SCE Noise. The product is now also available in more languages than ever, including Chinese.

Vaddio’s new ClearVIEW HD-20SE camera features an advanced Image Signal Processor and low-light capability.

Wireless Solution Sweden AB introduces the UglyBox MK2, a compact new wireless signal tester. It can be used as both transmitter and receiver and has a complete DMX tester that provides all data in live format directly on the screen.

D.T.S. introduces two new models in its ‘Conventional LED Projectors’ range: Scena LED 80 PC FC (pictured here) and Profilo LED 80 FC (pictured below).

Luci della Ribalta (LDR) introduced the Astro 200 LED Followspot at the LDI show last month. The 200W LED chip (with a 3200K or 5600K color temperature) promises to deliver comparable output to a 1kW TH followspot while being able to dim the light to 0.001% with one channel only. The Astro 200 LED was one of three featured products at LDI, joining the company’s Canto 2000 TH and Canto 1500 MSR models in Las Vegas. LDR was also marking its first year with U.S. distributor Canto USA.
