LONDON – Built with bigger, more complex and content-heavy shows in mind, d3 Technologies says its new server, the d3 4x4pro, can replace four standard media servers. Next to DXV, d3 now also supports HAP and the high-fidelity HAP-Q content. It can play 32 layers of HD (DXV/HAP) with canvas sizes up to 16K pixels across, or up to eight layers of lossless QuickTime animation, and with its twin 10Gbit/sec ethernet connections, it can transfer huge files in minutes rather than hours.

Harman’s Martin Professional today announced the release of MAC Viper firmware 2.0. The update contains fixes for all known issues and improvements on existing functionality including low noise cooling for the entire MAC Viper Family.

ETC’s new Unison Echo lighting control system offers architectural-lighting solutions for installations of any size and budget including classrooms, office buildings, and retail outlets. The system features Echo Responsive Controls, which include light sensors that perform daylight harvesting to harness natural light and adjust lighting levels accordingly, and occupancy/vacancy sensors that ensure a space is lit only when it’s in use.

WALDBÜTTELBRUNN, Germany –   German trade magazine Soundcheck tested three Futurelight Infinity devices for their May issue. The result: The technology for unlimited movements as well as the devices themselves left no margin of doubt. The editors tested an EYE-7, a PLB-130 and a DMH-75 with Infinity technology.
