Field Template has released SoftSymbols v3.6 with new designs for fixtures made by Altman, Ayrton, High End Systems and Morpheus Lighting.  SoftSymbols 3.6, which has also been updated to reflect the latest version of grandMA consoles from MA Lighting, is designed for use in the Vectorworks environment. Designed by Steve Shelley, these upgrades include the latest equipment for all of these libraries.

Philips Entertainment is extending its SL BAR 600 Series of products with the new compact, high-power SL BAR 620 LED luminaire. Promising the color clarity and output comparable to the SL BAR 640 and SL BAR 660 luminaires, the SL BAR 620 packs 12 RGBW LEDs in a two-foot linear fixture.

Checkers Industrial Safety Products is now offering their new lightweight Grip Guard 3-Channel Cable Protectors with patent-pending Gripper Connectors. Weighing only 23 pounds, Grip Guard is up to 50 percent lighter than rubber 3-channel cable protectors and up to 33 percent lighter than other polyurethane 3-channel cable protectors. While lighter in weight, Grip Guard 3-Channel channel protectors are designed to maintain their strength and durability, making them well suited for entertainment venues and other applications.

Hosa Technology says its new USB-300 Series SuperSpeed USB 3.0 cables are up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0.

Ahead of the opening of LDI 2013 in Las Vegas, American DJ gives a sneak peak at three new moving heads launching at the show.  The fixtures inclide the Inno Color Beam Z7, Inno Spot Pro and the 3 Sixty 2R.  The three new products join the over 30 new products American DJ is set to launch later this week.

The Ultra Vista Systems ISIS 3D UV signage system is from the same people behind UV/FX scenic UV-based effects. The latest collaboration between Leslie Pringle and Richard Green is intended to bring attention to signs with a unique, transparent illuminated frame with suspended light emitting images. The ISIS 3D (The Illuminated Suspended Image System) is the first in a series of planned products.

Green Hippo says its new Rackoon 1U rackmount gives Hippotizer users an additional six layers of full 1080p HD playback. Rackoon also integrates with all other Green Hippo servers and promises unrestricted output resolution along with full compatibility with HippoNet and Hippotizer software.
