NORTH CREEK, NY – Creative Stage Lighting has announced improvements in their Dura-Flex product line. Dura-Flex Cat-5E cable is now the optimal choice for heavy-duty and industrial applications. It has an improved outer jacket that’s tougher, but easier to handle. It’s chemical resistant, CMX rated for outdoor use and, like all Dura-Flex cables, REACH and RoHS compliant. Dura-Flex Cat-5E is extensively tested to ensure compliance to TIA network standards.

FRANKFURT, Germany — Robe’s Robin MMX Blade, featured at Prolight + Sound 2013, uses the 1200W-comparable MMX discharge fixture and adds a framing shutter system into the optical path. Each shutter blade’s position and angle can be controlled individually, and the framing module can also be rotated. Pre-programmed shutter blade shape and movement sequences allow for unique aerial effects.

Its compact form makes it suitable for applications where locations are difficult to access and where application with normal ground support is too big and heavy. Instead of being conceived as a truss tower, Baby Tower is essentially a tube — designed to support a grid made of 12-inch box truss.
