Litec RF40 is a new line of truss sections that are designed to combine high strength with compact dimensions. RF40 rectangular-section aluminum truss measures 40cm by 29cm.

The COLORdash Block is a compact wash fixture with four separate clusters of LEDs. The fixture comes with seven operating modes and full color mixing, with or without DMX control. It can be used as a wash light, and each pod can be individually controlled to create direct view effects.

Mega Control Systems, a division of Mega Systems Inc, announces the release of its newest version of lighting control software for nightclub and lounge control, Disco 2.0. Some of the new features include enhanced LED matrix control, improved password protection, improved timeline scheduler, keyboard shortcuts bump or latch, direct DMX value input, improved MIDI input control, improved manual cross fading and cross fade time override and numerous user interface improvements.

Tomcat USA’s Edge is a 30-inch-by-24-inch pre-rig truss that can be stowed in trucks four trusses wide and features stacking spigots, plus the option for rotating spigots for connection in multiple planes. Edge also eliminates the need for bulky corner blocks, and damaged ladders can be replaced without replacing the entire section of truss.

amBX says its amBIENT XC lighting control system can change the way lighting combines with video and sound to create immersive entertainment experiences. The amBIENT XC is a stand-alone DMX 512 hardware controller for RGB LED lighting fixtures, powered by amBX technology.

American DJ’s new Theatrix Pro 48 LED is an RGB+W color mixing luminaire with 48 one-watt LEDs (12 each red, green, blue and white). It has seven modes of operation with DMX with 4, 5, 7, 8, 11, 16 or 19 channels of control plus stand-alone with built-in color changing programs in automatic or sound activation mode.

ETC has released the iRFR (Radio Focus Remote for iPhone and iPod Touch) and is donating the proceeds to Behind the Scenes and Light Relief. The iRFR offers all the functionality of an ETC Net3™ Radio Focus Remote unit, interfacing to ETC’s Eos®, Ion®, Element™, Congo® and Congo jr control desks.

To assist RDM developers in implementing the RDM physical layer, Goddard Design has introduced the Transceiver Qualification Test Set. It consists of three PC boards that implement all the tests of Appendix F of the RDM standard.

The ML Finder Pro app for the iPhone from Zinman Software is now available. It features a database with over 500 devices indexed by manufacturer or model including color, gobo, effects systems, DMX values for a parameter, number of channels used, weight, power consumption and more.
