This line of commonly-touched parts, including buttons, hand levers, U-handles and wing nuts, feature built-in antibacterial protection to complement ongoing sanitation efforts. For plastics, special additives with silver ions are mixed in. Metal parts have powder coatings based on zinc molybdate. Both are included to destroy the cell walls of the microorganisms, making them fatal to germs and microbes (but harmless to humans).
