The First 20 Years of the Parnelli Awards: Looking Back At Number One

LAS VEGAS – Although the annual Parnelli Awards ceremony will take a “gap year,” with the 20th annual awards gala scheduled for January 2022, the Jan. 2021 issues of PLSN and FOH magazines will celebrate a retrospective of the ceremony’s history in print. Andrea Bocelli Performance at Sicily’s Noto Cathedral Lit with Prolights Gear

NOTO, Italy – Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli performed in late October on the steps of Noto Cathedral in Sicily, a Unesco heritage site. LD Massimo Tomasino lit Bocelli along with the orchestra and choir of the Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania, directed by Alberto Bartalini with a rig that included fixtures from Italy-based lighting manufacturer Prolights.

Nothing but Thieves Performs Series of U.K.-Based PPV Livestream Shows Lit with Robe-Centered Rig

FAREHAM, U.K. – Nothing But Thieves recently played a rocking series of ‘Live from The Warehouse’ pay-per-view live stream concerts from lighting rental specialist Liteup’s warehouse in the U.K. LD Warren Hutchison and lighting director Tim Perrett used a Robe-centered rig for the performances, which were seen as far away as the U.S., Australia and Asia.
