Ayrton Huracán-X Fixtures Create a Club-Like Vibe for Philadelphia’s HiJinx EDM Festival

PHILADELPHIA – The HiJinx EDM festival returned to Philadelphia’s PA Convention Center Dec. 27-28, drawing crowds with a lineup that included Bassnectar, Excision, Slander, GRiZ, Porter Robinson, Skrillex and Zeds Dead. Production designer Cort Lawrence ramped up the looks with Ayrton Huracán-X fixtures supplied by Pin Point Lighting and sourced via North American distributor ACT Lighting.

Bandit Provides Seth Jackson with Versatile Rig for Christian Music Tour

HARTFORD, CT – For a U.S. arena tour that ran from Nov. 1 to Nov. 23 and presented three top Christian acts, Casting Crowns, Hillsong Worship, and Elevation Worship, Bandit Lites provided LD Seth Jackson with a rig that included Elation Proteus Rayzor 760, Smarty Hybrid and Protron Eclypse fixtures. Jackson credited the fixtures for enabling each of the bands’ LDs to come up with distinctive looks.

ADJ IP65-Rated Fixtures Brighten Julefest in Solvang, CA

SOLVANG, CA – ADJ’s IP65-rated Hydro Beam X2 moving lights and 18P HEX IP LED-powered par fixtures are brightening Solvang, CA’s Julefest celebrations, bringing the town’s Danish holiday traditions to life. Festival organizer IDK Events turned to Jeremy Cable and his company Islay Events for an assist lighting a three-block section of the city’s main street, Copenhagen Drive.

Maná “Rayando el Sol” North American Tour Rig Centers on Claypaky Fixtures

LOS ANGELES – Since the Mexican pop and rock band Maná was founded in 1986, fans have purchased more than 40 million albums, and the artists have four Grammys and eight Latin Grammys to their credit. Claypaky fixtures played a key role in the band’s 2019 “Rayando el Sol” tour, which rocked North American venues from September through December.

MEXICO CITY – Light artist and designer Christopher Bauder and composer/music producer Kanding Ray brought their epic immersive kinetic light/sonic art piece SKALAR to Mexico. The dazzling art installation powers up with Robe Pointes. The lighting setup included 75 Pointes attached to the walls on ladders and 15 more on top of three totem trusses positioned on the floor in the center of the space.
