Stage Directions was very sorry to see the severe structural damage that Hurricane Ian wrought on the Venice Theatre in Venice, FL, which has been forced to cease all activities in the wake of the storm. It was reported that all staff and team were safe after the storm. The Venice Theatre is a very active community theater, working with American Association of Community Theatre (AACT) in fact, they recently hosted the AACT WorldFest June 24-26, 2022 and was due to host it for the fifth time in 2024. The show ¡Hasta que se nos hizo! was presented in June at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City where renowned Mexican singers Lucero and Manuel Mijares delighted the audience with a litany of hits from more than 40 years in the entertainment industry. Axel Rebollo, in charge of lighting and production design for the show, used Elation Professional’s 51,000-lumen Artiste Mondrian™ LED profile FX moving head, along with Chorus Line 16™ and Protron 3K Color™, to highlight the set. LED Video Solutions for Coheed and Cambria Tour

American progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria traveled across the U.S. over the summer on A Window of The Waking Mind Tour. The 25-stop trek, which took in a mixture of outdoor amphitheaters and indoor arenas, featured an impressive production that was anchored by a giant inflatable set piece flanked by a pair of large video walls constructed from ADJ’s Vision Series VS3 modular LED panels. Lighting the Monumental Cathedral Notre-Dame of Laon

DJ and music producer Michael Canitrot presented another innovative Monumental show, this time in front of the incredible Cathedral Notre-Dame of Laon in the city of Aisne in the Hauts-de-France region of France.
