Upfronts are the biggest television event you’ve never heard of. Held in spring, they allow networks to promote their upcoming new fall lineups and convince companies to buy advertising. Each event is generally held live, with splashy guest stars and big production elements designed to impress. COVID shutdowns disrupted them in 2020, but WarnerMedia was determined to make a big comeback in 2021. WorldStage Has Ceased Operations

After contacting former company insiders, PLSN has confirmed that WorldStage, a prominent provider of audio, video, lighting, LED, and XR production services, has ceased operations as of Feb. 21. The company, formed by a merger between Scharff Weisberg and Video Applications in 2007, rebranded as WorldStage in 2011.
