Southern rock stalwarts Drivin N Cryin performed a big-looking show on the compact stage at Ghost Train Brewing Company in Birmingham, AL with expansive visuals from Gable Larramore. The LD used a ChamSys MagicQ MQ80 to drive the lighting rig supplied by Kauffman Sound that included Rogue R1 FX-B, Maverick MK1 Spot, and COLORado 1 Quad Zoom fixtures from Chauvet Professional.

Robe Out in the Middle for Zac Brown Band

In 2021, Zac Brown Band hit the road again with their Comeback Tour, re-energizing a live campaign that had originally started in 2019, rolled into 2020 and then was abruptly halted due to the pandemic. In Memoriam: Alan Hall, Stage Manager and Production Supervisor

 

Stage Directions in PLSN has learned of the death of Production Stage Manager and Production Supervisor Alan Hall, who died Monday, February 7, 2022, in Spruce Head Island, ME. Born in England in 1936, Hall was 85. Here’s a great and informative video interview with Hall from the American Theatre Wing’s Guide to Working in the Theatre series, where Hall speaks in-depth on the role of the Production Stage Manager.
